Providing our venue partners with qualified, reliable and productive hospitality staff is the number one priority of Payc.

Yes, Payc draws from barcats - the largest hospitality community in Australia! But we put Payc staff specifically through a few more screenings and onboarding to ensure they are not only ready and suitable to work, but also legally employed and ready to be paid, fast! Payc is truly an industry-leading service!

Screening and Onboarding

In addition to the barcats staff profile that gives transparency over work history & qualifications and carries through to Payc for exisiting barcats users, we collect the following as part of our new and improved screening and onboarding process:

  • Certificate uploads so you have access to the certifciations they need to work in your venue(s) e.g. RSA, RSG/RCG, Food Handler
  • Full casual onboarding process covering 'right to work' check, ID check, emergency contacts, Fairwork Australia information, OH&S induction, 'code of conduct' and other required signed employment and 'fit for duty' declarations
  • How staff want to be paid, fast! Perosnal payment details.

After the profile extension and screening, staff are matched with jobs that have the appropriate skills and attributes - ultimately determining which jobs are visible to each staff member and as such which shifts they will have the opportunity to secure once approved by the hiring venue administrator.
